CATCH Violent Reaction 2026 Preview
Our main event (I assume) will be a "rematch" from our last show! That is in quotes due to the fact Big T ambushed Troy after Shredded Meat defeated Briac Strong & Bruiser Brad and announced he was cleared again so would be defending right there and then against Troy! It was a quick match given the beating Troy Ryan had took before it so Tom Bola of the Greater Manchester Athletic Commision has sanctioned a rematch between the two!
These 2 squared off against each other in the Enygma Series at CATCH Gimme Danger 2025 in a match I have very fond memories of down at the Bread Shed (rest in peace you'll always be remembered) with Scott Oberman getting the win on that night and going on to win the whole thing (using his shot to win the CATCHweight title!)
Speaking of Enygma Series winners, Tony Wright will likely be lurking about to challenge the winner of this match as he won the 2026 variant and is yet to choose which champion he is challenging!
Back to Lee Dawson though, he is on a 3 match winning streak defeating Josh Eze quicker than Oberman did, then Matt Tucker and finally FTM's Tom McColl so he has definitely earned his shot at the belt.
Can Lee Dawson avenge his Gimme Danger loss?
Luke Jacobs will face Teddy Reay (formerly Tu Byt who Jacobs defeated at Futureshock in 2021) on Sunday, October 18th at CATCH Violent Reaction in what promises to be an absolute cracker of a contest! Both men have North West Strong affiliations although only one remains in the group at this moment (although I'm not sure you can quite equate the new group to the old one as Tu Byt never dressed up as Gru so Teddy Reay > Tu Byt)
Ian Skinner will be walking into Violent Reaction to a reaction which is quite violent after he not only took Aiton Steen's hair but also his CATCH career in a TLC match at the last show New Art Riot! Prior to that show, at a CATCH telly taping, Skinner attacked Gorgon after Gorgon's loss teaming with Aiton Steen in their match against Nadjei & Kevin Lloyd using beads to choke him out until Steen made the save! Now they settle their issue once and for all!
Lily Winter has always been a fighting champion so far and Violet Nyte has been a problem in many different promotions testing many a champion! I'm not a big fan of someone walking into the promotion and getting a title shot without earning it but Violet Nyte scares me and may well beat me up if I point that out so I'll allow it this time around!
A new and old mainstay of North West Strong, Chris Ridgeway returns to CATCH to take on 19 year old Spaniard Sensation Alejandro West (who calls himself "The Young Veteran")! Expect this one to be a lovely little technical treat as 2 Futureshock mainstays show the CATCH audience what they can do (and also expect Keinen Krishna to get involved in some way unfortunately).
