1 | London Executioners | 4 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 4 | 8 |
2 | Yorkshire Titans | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 7 |

6 | Midlands Destroyers | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | -3 | 4 |
Match 1: London Executioners vs Glasgow Hitmen
The Glasgow Hitmen have had a very poor start to the league this season as they have been circling the drain the whole time! With a huge name such as Kay Lee Ray joining up and the home-team advantage on their side can they pull off a huge win against top of the league? I think they can't! Smashing Mike is up for the Fall-on D'or this season as he has been a big problem for every team he's faced however the addition of Simon Miller could cause to be an even bigger issue! I'm going 3-1 to the Executioners!
Our main event of the evening where wrestling meets football pits Gallus' finest Wolfgang & Mark Coffey up against Sha Samuels & Levi Muir! This has a very different vibe to it as Gallus have been excellent in their matches with the only problems arising from Kenny McIntosh on the outside getting himself in a pickle from time to time! I believe that if they can stay focused and avoid managerial distraction this could be a narrow 4-3 win to the Hitmen!
Match 2: North East Outlaws vs Yorkshire Titans
Martin Kirby had a very good win in Manchester in a high scoring affair against BT Gunn which makes me think this will be the opposite as he has learned from his mistakes! Luke Menzies returns to the NWL hoping to best a huge name on the British Indies! This is a true 6 pointer so I'm going to stick with that theme and go for a 3-3 draw that will leave both teams in good stead for title contention!
Rampage Brown will be desperate to recapture his tough-guy aesthetic after being forced to tap to an ankle lock by Sam Gradwell last time in Manchester whereas Tim Strange may refuse to wear the badge depending on who comes out with the manager after his incident with Bam Bam Barnes! With both men with a lot to prove I think this will be a big meaty low scoring affair with neither man wanting to quit so I'm going 1-0 to Brown!
Match 3: Manchester Maniacs vs Midlands Destroyers
Sam Gradwell had the whole of Manchester behind him last time as he was able to best Rampage Brown to score Manchester their first win of the National Wrestling League season! I think it will be a little bit different this time as Glasgow will be hoping for a draw here as they are in a relegation battle with both Manchester and the Midlands! Joseph Conners is a meanie though so there is that to consider! I'm going 2-2 here!
The most interesting match of the evening is a trios match with a manager involved in the action! Frankie Sloan humiliated the Destroyers last time around after their embarrassing loss forcing them to cover their faces with towels as they left to the back! In his interview he suggested a good idea would be to get him in the ring! With Manchester having a hot-headed player manager in Nathan Fisher I'm sure this one will be full of cards! If I was a betting man I'd say this will have 5+ cards and be a 5-2 win to Manchester fully cementing that the Destroyers need the Big Sam treatment to avoid the drop (although currently he is the coach of Manchester)!
That wraps things up for my predictions for Matchday 3 so we'll have to see if any of them come true! If you want to be there in person for one of the best promotions I have attended tickets are still availible from just £5 at https://thenationalwrestlingleague.com/tickets/glasgow/
