After Yota Tsuji defeated Ryohei Oiwa at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2026 to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship a video played on screen revealing Kenny Omega wanted a shot at the IWGP Champion due to his cowardice of not showing up at Forbidden Door and him feeling he was disrespected as both an AEW & NJPW legend because of the I in IWGP standing for International! After the video ended Tsuji said unless Kenny showed up in Japan he wouldn't be giving him a shot which brought out Boltin Oleg who pinned Tsuji in the G1 and believed he is next in line! Just as Oleg was about to go face to face with Tsuji, Kenny Omega appeared in person attacking Oleg before delivering a brutal V-Trigger to Yota Tsuji before hitting him with the One Winged Angel!

As he left backstage, NJPW English commentators Walker Stewart and Chris Charlton took multiple shots at not only Omega but also AEW meaning this could spiral big time!

We got backstage comments from one Kenneth Omega as he challenged Tsuji & Oleg to a triple threat match at NJPW Power Struggle on November 3rd which he has said can be non-title under the stipulation that should he pin either man he earns a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship! Yota Tsuji declined to comment at this time.
