WWE NXT Wrestling Recap (6/10/2026)
Live from the WWE PC in Orlando, Florida comes WWE NXT Wrestling #858 featuring an NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal, Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux wrestling the Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento & Takuma) in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round match, Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. Shido Ash & Viktor Zanov in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round match, Zilla Fatu vs. Lexis King and Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku!
Join me for the live recap!
We kick things off with Zilla Fatu taking on Lexis King accompanied by the entire Birthright! Surely that has to be looking bleak for Fatu who attacks King before the bell whilst he's posing with his squad! Eventually Zilla throws King into the ring and we get the bell! After getting beat up a bit Lexis tries to escape and Zilla jumps onto everyone! Lexis is able to come back a bit being able to dropkick Zilla and give him a bulldog before locking in a sleeper. A blockbuster gets us close to a 3 but Zilla is still fighting! The crowd really begin getting behind Zilla as he hits a massive spinebuster before a diving shoulder tackle onto a rope hung King! King hits a headbutt but Fatu doesn't flinch and hits him with the Superman Spike to win! After the match Birthright lay Zilla Fatu to waste with a steel chair and throw him into the steel steps before trapping his hand in them and stomping it all because he didn't want to join the group! No more flying Samoan Spikes for you my boy...
Just before we head to commercial we see Layla Diggs and Chantel Monroe try to establish themselves as possible contenders to the title! I appreciate them making an effort at least!
We're told when we come back we'll get a Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic match...
We come back to not a match but an advert for WWE Radio which we're all tuning in for definitely :[
After that we see a vignette for Dion Lennox talking about Cruz Montana and then see Montana talking to Lizzy Rayne who talks about the huge battle royale!
We then finally get the Dusty Cup match as Hank Walker and Tank Ledger face Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov after being shown to belly flop a bit earlier in the week! Hank & Tank hit their powerslam/shoulder tackle onto Shido Ash to advance in the tournament!
Next up Grayson Waller came to the ring talking about how he remembers a time when the NXT Title was special before being interrupted by Myles Borne who says he's coming for the one title he hasn't won yet! Tony D'Angelo then comes out and says to test Myles' new attitude elsewhere because he wants a shot instead! Grayson asks who really wants it and Myles squares up to him before dropping Tony D with a right hand!
Shiloh Hill came out of the gate hot here and hit some pretty big moves throughout including a tombstone shoulder breaker and a top rope lariat! Naraku was able to come back bit by bit and hit a pretty big senton before hitting the rarely-seen decapitator before smashing Hill to the ground with a Fireman's Carry Powerbomb that got a near 2! Bombs were traded back and forth before Shiloh hit a pop-up headbutt spinebuster and an inverted senton! Naraku is about to mist Shiloh when he blocks it, lifts him up for a powerslam which Naraku slips out of and mists the official instead by accident! Not sure why he would mist Shiloh in full view of the official and expect anything else anyway but he seems annoyed by the DQ decision! Hill & Naraku continue brawling up the ramp as the ref receives medical treatment! It was blue mist for anyone keeping score which makes the misted fall asleep (something the official was not doing as instead it appeared to have the effects of green or red mist). Perhaps Shiloh Hill got into his mist-making kit and switched some things around!
Tokyo Bad Boys had the win at many a moment but Birthright, similar to how they weaseled their way into the match, weaseled their way out of each of the scenarios and managed to win with a lovely looking Fisherman Suplex with a bridged pin to advance!
Izzi Dame and Zaria basically eliminated each other after Zaria eliminated her and she angrily returned the favour by distracting her and allowing Kali Armstrong to chuck her out! Then Reina Volcan got eliminated by a gaggle of people and took her frustrations out on Lady Shani (who by this point was very obviously not Lady Shani because a certain someone's eyes are very distinctive!)
Eventually Kali Armstrong eliminated Lizzy Rayne (still an awful name change from Rayne Leverkusen but get that bag) to "win" the battle royale before "Lady Shani" came back in and eliminated her winning and revealing herself to be... WREN SINCLAIR 😱😱😱
That is all from us,
Stay Ramblin'
